The CRAFT project for children will probably take a little planning, but the results are worth it. Most of the materials used are recycled, so that the benefits of fun to teach children about the reuse of seemingly worthless junk. Children let their imagination run free, as they are proud of the finished product.

Collecting these things before starting the craft project:

Empty Recycle cardboard or metal boxes and containers in various sizes
Aluminum foil and / or silver plumbers tape
Tape
Hot glue gun
Assorted chances and ends such as junk mail (in small squares), glass lids, bottle tops, buttons, screws and nuts, old CDs, pipe cleaners, stones, broken jewelry and silk flowers

It is a good idea to have a few ready-made robot on the display before the start of the project. Try the traditional boy or girl robot, cats, dogs or completely made-up creatures.

How to make Robots:

Older children can use this first step, but the younger (under the age of 9 or 10) may need help. Use aluminum foil to wrap the empty boxes as a gift and the edges with tape. Try to smooth the edges so that the box is on its own. An optional variant of this step is for the boxes with silver band.

The children can gather the decorations and planning their designs. Some of them will need help with a design, but it will probably be amazing how creative they are on their own.

Let the children stick their creations using the hot glue gun station. This may need a separate room or just a corner of the table where everyone works. An adult or teenager should be suitable on the gluing.

Children may be tempted to puncture the box pointed to fasten decorations, but this can cause the aluminum foil tear. To prevent tearing, place a piece of clear packing tape over the foil before punching any holes.

Even very young children can participate, have a few small boxes that are already with tape or film and provide a stable foam stickers.
