Corn Craft Project : Make A Satin Corn

You can use satin rope or another kind of rope for this craft project.

This time you will make the corn made from satin rope. Instead you can use cord rope for this craft project. You also need the thread, scissor and tooth brush.

Cut the rope about 2 m (a), fold into 2 parts, then make the knot.

Down about 2 m, make a knot again. So the 2 parts called a1 and a2 (for the corn kernel).

Cut another rope (b) about 30 cm, make 4 cuts (for corn bone).

Insert the b ropes into a1 and a2. Then tie b rope at the middle uses a1 and a2. Then we get the 8 b ropes called b1, b2, b3, b4, b5, b6, b7, b8 (for corn bone).

Plait those ropes:
Pinch b1 with a1 and a2. Then cross a1 and a2. Do the same for b2, b3, b4, b5, b6, b7, b8. Do this continually so you get a row of corn seeds.

After the corn length have reached your desire, just tie the end. And loose the ropes, brush it so you get the corn feather.

For accessories, put the green silver rope at the corn base.
