Terrarium as Small Garden in Your Room

Hello readers, these are some pictures of terrarium. Terrarium is a method to grow the decorative plants in a transparent container or bottle. This method grows in Europe in 18th century that introduced by Dr. Nathaniel Ward.

Terrarium uses transparent container in order to make the light is easily penetrated and for the people to see the container content. At the tropical area, terrarium can be used for decoration element in room besides pot plant and cut flower in vase. Terrarium is suitable for they who don’t have enough wide yard for gardening.

Terrarium making process can be shortly explained here. Started with arrange the stone and coarse sand, spagnum moss (sponge for water absorption), charcoal, soil and smooth sand. Then before inserting the plant, make a little hole at the media using the small spoon. Arrange your plants as beauty as possible.

For maintenance, just cut the dense growth of the plant. Don’t forget to regulate the incoming light and keep the temperature at 18.3°C – 23.9°C.
