Ikebana: Jiyuka Arrangement (free style)

Put on the philodendron
At free style arrangement it is possible to use oasis that isn’t used in classic arrangement. To beautify the pot, the white corals are put at the base. Put on the main element as a pair of philodendron leaves. Sticked in a row at the left and right of the vase so it looks balance.
Cut the leaf
The philodendron leaves part that stick together is cut. The middle part looks empty. This cutting is for shape variation and at the same time gives a space to place the arrangement supported elements.
Fill with celosia
The empty space because of cutting is filled with red and orange celosia. The flowers are face ahead and a little bit to the side and back for balance.
Insert the color accent
Add the soft color of rose. Its color that contrast with celosia makes it become an interesting accent to make the arrangement looks life and dinamic.
Give balance
Because many of elements located in the front, so it become unbalance. Although it tends to be one side view, the arrangement needs balance. In order not to be heavy at the front side, insert the philodendron at the back side.
Insert the soft element
As finishing, at each of arrangement side is put baby breath that functioned as softer/softener for the previous arrangement.
