For this kids craft as usual we use polypropylene tissue, the waterproof and stronger tissue paper.
Prepare 1 sheet of green tissue paper 8×20 cm, 1 sheet of 6×17 cm, 1 sheet of 5×15 cm. Each of them is folded at its length. Baste at the under part.
Pull the thread to form wrinkles. Cut the tip of fold in bend shape so it isn’t look rigid.
Prepare the pistils like button. You can use the cardboard cut and make 2 holes at it.
Stick the holes at circle cardboard with small wire, then wrap the cardboard with dried corn husk (or other similar paper) and wrap again with other coarse texture fabric to form a pistil. Read the rest of this entry »

How to make
Copy the pattern (picture) and cut the felt or flannel follows the pattern.
Make your flannel rose with stick its tip and sew a little part at the beginning to make it stronger. Then start to roll and fold the flannel to form a rose (see similar method at this craft project article).
Insert the small wood stick that has been given with glue into the rose. For chocolate ball, wrap it with gold paper that has been pressed before used. Then put the paper base below the chocolate (you can take the ready to use paper that usually used as small cake base). This craft project uses flannel or felt fabric for material. You also need to buy a ready to use hand phone hanger rope that will be added with flannel accent.
Making process
Copy the pattern (see picture).
Cut the flannel or felt like the pattern.
Make the letters (example: M, A, R, Y) at each pattern uses dark thread.
Sew each pattern with feston stitch.

To make emboss patchwork you will need roll cutter and square ruler with pattern lines in it.
First, you need to make the 3 dimension doll shape. After done, it is copied to the rag to be cut. For the dress, the rag is cut at the larger size than the pattern (need 3 times larger) for the wrinkle accent. Then stick that fabric to the doll pattern that has been made.
