Fabric Craft: How to make a Rabbit Doll
This rabbit doll fabric craft project is simple enough and can be used to help you when tell a story to your children. We need a glove, dacron, 2 pieces of 25 x 25 cm of cotton fabric, 2 black buttons, lace, ribbon and thread. How to make this rabbit doll is really easy.
How to make doll
Take your stock glove, reverse the wrong side to the outside. Make pattern above it. Sew using machine or your hand follow the pattern (see picture). Then cut the rest of the finger parts of the glove. Use the smallest finger for the tail and rest of the fingers become left and right hand. These parts will be used in the next step. Back to the rabbit head, reverse the glove and fill with dacron and baste the wrist part of the glove. Put the black button for the eyes and make its mouth using thread.
Now we work at the dress of the rabbit. Take 2 pieces of cotton fabric follow the pattern (see picture) and join them. Put the lace at the under part of the dress. Put both of the hands at A-B and C-D (see picture). The smallest finger cut is filled with dacron for the rabbit’s tail. Baste this tail at the back of the dress. Take the rabbit head and put at the top of the dress, baste it, pull and lock the thread.
