The coconut tree is really can be used as craft material, from its leaves, coconut shell and also its stem. Here is an alternative to use the coconut shell as the plant pot. It looks funny and natural, isn’t it? It also surely cheap price :).
The way also so simple. Just cut the small part of the coconut shell and the remain bigger part is used for plant media. Then join those parts, the small part is put below the bigger one. You can use the glue or the bolt to join them. If needed, you can add the small hole beneath the coconut shell pot. It will be used for the water remain (when you watering the plant) to leave the pot.
Leaving the pot with its natural color and texture will be good, although you can add your own touch to these pots. The picture shows the unique texture of the bigger one pot. It looks like a funny shape with eyes and mouth on it.
