This gift card using a Japanese doll theme. Finding a book on making a doll card, I want to make one. This is the result. Not as nice as on the book, but it is okay for the first trying.
After evaluate the result and make comparison, I find that some little mistakes has been occurred:). First, it need more cotton on the doll body, so the result will be more embossed body. The second is I should use motive paper for the dress, it will look more nice and bright. Then the third, the hair pattern needs to more wide at the top. Then finally, the top of the body. It’s dress should be cut become more small sizes for the tassels so it will be easily folded inside.
By the way, this is the simple method to make the card. As shown in the picture, just cut your paper into needed shapes. The different one just accent at the body. First cut the cartoon for the body, then put your cotton above. Then wrap with motive paper. At the top part, exactly at the bend part, cut the motive paper become tassels to make easily folded.
