This craft project can be made with young coconut leaves or ribbon or paper. To make bird craft project, we need about 10 steps.
1. Make 3 coils in right and left hand.
2. Insert the front right coil to left coil from up direct of the ribbon, to down then up again.
3. Insert the second (middle) right coil to left coil from down direct, to up then down again.
4. Insert the third right coil to left coil from up direct, to down then up again.
5. The 3 coil arrangement produce base plaited.
6. Take the right base/ beginning, bend and plait to every cavity/ hole in front of it until reaching bottom corner.
7. Take the left base, bend and plait to every cavity/ hole in front of it until reaching bottom corner. Pull both tips and bases that meet each other.
8. Form the bird head with rotate both bases slice to front direct.
9. Insert the tip to the hole that formed.
10. It is done.
