[Crafts Satin] Make Satin Vase

Satin rope can be used as craft material. We can plait satin rope become various craft satin with different shape like this satin vase or unique shape like fruits and others. We need plait technique to get wanted result. Let us learn this method.
Make first base plait with this way (picture 1). This picture just show us to make base plait with just 2 ropes. For this plaited vase, we start with 12 ropes that divide into 2 parts. So we will get 24 ropes (picture 2).

The next step we insert 1 rope again to the base plait (picture 3), then continue with arrange this rope within the ropes in base plaited alternately. In this step we gather every 3 ropes into 1 part. So finally we will get 24/3 or 6 rope groups (picture 4). After get 2 circles of plait, we can continue with gather every 2 ropes into 1 part until 4^th circle of plait.

For 5^th circle, separate the group of ropes into single rope so we will get 24 ropes again until 13^th circle. For next step we may use our creativity to join and separate the ropes to get the wanted shape. To get the wider plait we can separate the ropes group. More narrow plait can be got with joins the ropes or we may also combine within group and no-group of rope to get wanted result, for example join 2 ropes for current plait and then just single rope for next plait (picture 5).

To finish plait work, we should lock it. We can use fire to join within 2 tips of ropes (picture 6).
