[Rose Craft] Silk Flower

Do you want to make rose craft from silk fabric? This method is used when you want to make simple silk flower.

Flower

Cut the material ( you can choose pink silk) with half circle shape for inner crown (6 pieces) and outer crown with more big diameter (24 pieces).

Then we will make the flower crown. Join 2 slices of materials (put the good surface inside). Divide the edge material that curve become 3 parts. Baste at the curve part material with this method: the first and third part of curve material are basted with common way, but for second part, after you baste it, then you can give a pull to make the material wrinkle. Then reverse the material, put the good surface outside. Arrange the crowns become a flower.

Prepare a wire, slipped into the small crown, roll it, add a small crown again, glue and form become inner crown, strengthen with thread. Arrange the next crown with put 3 pieces of crown in every 1/3 part of every piece, baste it, pull and lock the stitch. Do the same for second (need 4 pieces) and third (5 pieces) crown. Finally, insert the crowns, start from the smallest until the biggest crown arrangement. Strengthen with glue and bundle with thread. Cut the green material with star shape, give a hole in center part. Put under the flower and glue it.

Leaf

Cut the green material to make a leaf. Use the special scissor to make serration edge. Cling the wire in the middle center part of leaf.
