[Coconut Crafts] Coconut Flower Veil Craft Project
This is an idea to make your own coconut crafts. You must not to go to the store to buy potpourri pot. You can make by your self from ingredient that exist around you.
There’s nothing useless from coconut tree. The stick can be used to build house. The leaf can be used to make food wrapper, the palm leaf rib even also can be used as broom. Even less the fruit, can be food ingredient, snack or oil. Well, there one again, coconut flower veil even also can we exploited.
Dried coconut flower veil can be cultivated to be room accessory, one is a pretty potpourri (dry flowers) pot.
Tool and ingredient :
·Dehydrated coconut flower veil.
·Wood glue, dope/vernis, little bamboo (3-4 cm diameter).
·Saw, scissor, sandpaper.
How to make :
· Clean the dry coconut flower veil and attenuate the surface by using sandpaper. Scrub slowly in mouldy or stained part. Also attenuate the side and the tip part.
· Cut and beaten the base part so that flower veil shape resembles boat.
· Cut the bamboo 2-3 cm. Make 2 cuts as container foot.
· Paste up the cutting bamboo in under part of coconut flower veil. Use wood glue. Wait until cling tightly.
· Do finishing. Dab dope or vernis to entire veil surfaces and bamboo. Do 2 times. Let it dry.
Tip :
To get appropriate veil form, while drying it, you can form it as your appropriate willing.
